When i wake up in the morning my finger nails are brown and they smell and taste spicy. What happens at night?

someone is sneeking in your room at night, while your asleep and putting taco bell refied beans on your handsWhen i wake up in the morning my finger nails are brown and they smell and taste spicy. What happens at night?
I know that it sounds strange, but do you grind your teeth at night? If you do then it could be that you have worms or other parasites. Often people that have pin worms will scratch their bum and grind their teeth while sleeping. A quick trip to the doc can help with this.

You may also need to just wipe better (lots of guys don't, 'speacially when they are really hairy). There are some anal cleansing lotions that you can get at your local drug store that are easy to use. just wipe a little on and wipe it off with a tissue. When i wake up in the morning my finger nails are brown and they smell and taste spicy. I don't know but your brother was just here complaining about a sore back? Have you been violently scratching his back at night?
You talk in your sleep and then put your hand in what comes out on the pillow.
You're prolly scratching yourself a lot at night.

I have weak, bending nails.. I need to grow them out for my job, ya know so I will look professional. No I aint a hooker. I work in an office. I cant use fake nails. They are not for me. Is there some sort of polish to put on them? HELPI wanna know how to grow out my finger nails....?
Soak your nail in sudsy water, push you cuticles back and paint your nails with a hardener polish at least every 3 days. DO NOT BITE THEM.I wanna know how to grow out my finger nails....?
try silk nail hardener from ur local avon rep,it worked for me
You are exactly who fake nails are made for. Smarten up and buy some.

It's easier to type with normal nails. Keep them short and polished and you'll look professional at any job except the hooker thing.
Get a good clear strengthing polish. Make sure you are getting enough calcium in your diet, a good multi vitamin can help.
UM THERES A NAIL POLISH THAT MAKE YOUR NAIL GROW USE THAT.
the sally hansen range is GREAT

and regular manicures do help too
Make sure that you get enough Calcium. And if your food is not providing enough, get and take some supplements. Then just let Nature do the rest.

And by the way, fake fingernails are about the most ugly thing that has ever been invented by the cosmetics industry. I cannot understand why so many women use them.
hey don't be disappointed I'm trying the same thing,i bought a nail grower from U.S.A (America) it is for 2$ only %26amp; it really works.or else u can fille your nail.try that out and lemme kno.
buy a nail strengthener and harderner nailpolish to fix your nails

Why do some people finger nails look like the texture of clam shells?

The eyes have been called the windows to the soul. But your fingernails can be an excellent barometer of your physical health. From little white lines to big dark streaks, your fingernails may be trying to tell you something.

';Deficiencies in one's diet or systemic diseases or even medicines that are used to treat a problem can result in defects in the nail,'; says Dr. Jacquelyn Garrett, a Christian Hospital dermatologist.

Those little white lines are the most common defect. Those are generally considered harmless.

';Isolated white lines on the nail can be just a result of trauma. But the white appearance of the entire nail can be more of a signifying result of an internal disease such as anemia once again or a fungal infection locally, aids can even result in changes in the nail color,'; says Dr. Garrett.

A concave or spoon shaped nail is reason for concern. That can also mean low iron levels in the blood or anemia.

';That's a readily treatable problem by analyzing their blood and seeing what the blood counts are and remedying it with iron supplements.';

A half-white and half-pink or half-brownish nail can mean kidney or liver disease. People with the skin disease psoriasis may see a thickening or pitting of their nails. And brown or black streaks not caused by trauma are always cause for concern.

';Brown and black streaks in the nail, that could be indicative of malignant melanoma and that is very serious,'; says Dr. Garrett.

Usually after the health problem has been addressed, the nails will go back to normal. Why do some people finger nails look like the texture of clam shells?
Another possibility is chronic psoriasis. Depending on how it effects the individual, it can effect the look of the nails such as yellowing, pitting, warping and thickened growth.

Not pretty, but nothing that can be controlled since it is heredity causing it.Why do some people finger nails look like the texture of clam shells?
You may be describing onychogryphosis or onychomycosis. Onychogryphosis is a thickened overgrowth of the nails. Onychomycosis a fungal infection of the nail and the nail bed. Poor circulation can also result in abnormal nail appearance. Excessive, long-term nail-biting can cause uneven, ridged nails. Poor health and nutritional deficiencies do not usually result in what you have described; those appear differently.

  • Why do guys from Mexico and the Filipines grow out thier finger nails?

so they can snort their coke and if the police stop them they can't get busted for drug paraphernalia...lolWhy do guys from Mexico and the Filipines grow out thier finger nails?
Not all do. I'm Mexican and I don't do that. Mine are as short as they can get.

It's only some people that do it which aren't necessarily from Mexico or the Philippines.

    No.

Why do finger nails grow faster than toe nails?

Toenails naturally grow 10 times slower than fingernails. For the reason: You don't need your toe nails to grow as fast as your fingernails. We don't really use our toenails to do anything, other than look pretty when us girls where high heels or sandals.

And it's not due to sunlight, your toenails don't photosynthesize, lol.Why do finger nails grow faster than toe nails?
because finger nails are not covered, sun grows your nail, toe nails are always covered by shoes. and finger nails get washed more than toe nails, also water helps growing nailsWhy do finger nails grow faster than toe nails?
Because we use our hands more often and the fingernails are stimulated to grow just by tapping them on a surface.
They get more exposure to sunlight.

How do I get my daughter to stop biting her finger nails?

Paint her nails with halapeno chilli juice. Watch it though it can be painful if smeared on skin. How do I get my daughter to stop biting her finger nails?
A mix of positive and negative reinforcements. Give her some type of reward for not biting her nails, and take something away of she continues to bite them. Nail polish also helps as it tastes awful. How do I get my daughter to stop biting her finger nails?
Hey, i used to bite my nails .. my mum used to take a wedge of lime adn rub them on my fingers.. and every time i bit them .. i would stop cos it was really sour.. i quit and i havent ever since.. goodluck
hehhe, that's weired....i was biting the skin around the nail when i saw your question......so i stopped....

am sorry i have no idea, but it depends on the mode of the person, like i only do that sometimes when am thinking and i feel like am having extra pressure at work or in a situation....though i don't do it infront of people, only when am thinking alone...so perhaps you may wanna try distracting your girl by a talk, a toy, or trying to understand what's in her head....:)

    good luck
get her some finger nail polish it should say on the label if it's to get ppl to stop biting their finger nails and make her put it on and trust me she'll stop it tastes so gross.
she said she was 23 I'm 27 and I still bite my nails and have been since I was 5 I did stop for 2 years form 23 to 25 try getting her a manicure that always worked for me.
put them under a microscope and show her exactly what she's putting in her mouth. Worked for me, I surely don't do that anymore.
well i used tap and things like that
I had this problem when I was younger... my parents tried the nail biting polish and pepper remedies... it made me want to bit them even more because it made my mouth and tongue go numb and tingle... not really something that would cause you to stop.

What did work for me is figuring out why I did it and finding something to take its place. A ';tick'; I bit my nails when I got nervous or during long stretches of boring time... so I got into the habit of rolling quarters and pens around my fingers instead, to kinda keep me busy. Now I have some neat tricks to flaunt off too!
Biting fingernails is a security issue..you can NOT stop it with out causing other issues!

If she is old enough, take her to a manicurist and have silk tips applied..even then if she feels stress she will rip the fakes off and bite or tear the real nails...

Why are you so concerned about your daughter biting her nails?? Why does she feel so insecure would be my first concern!

I know I was a nail biter, and nail ripper, and I had good reason to do it...look for an underlying cause, there always is one!
Every morning make her dig her fingers in a bar of soap. Trust me.
I bit my nails 'til I was about 18 years old. Then, one Christmas, my Aunt Edna bought me a real, adult, complete, manicure set. The instructions with the kit said I should manicure my nails once a week. I did, faithfully, and by my wedding day, in August, my nails were beautiful and long. I wore white pearlized nail polish on them on my wedding day. They were so beautiful.

I think the reason I bit them was because there would be rough edges, and I wanted clean edges. By keeping them filed and polished (even with clear polish), I no longer had rough edges to clean up, and I didn't want to ruin my manicure.

I think if she'd just bought me the component parts, it wouldn't have done the job. The fact that everything was right there in a kit, I think did the job. I've been eternally grateful to her. I'm 67 years old and still have beautiful, long nails.

I think, also, it helps to use hand lotion after having them in water for extended periods. It keeps the nails supple and the hands beautiful. Even better is to wear rubber gloves. They take some getting used to; but, later you don't want to touch water without them.

Good luck to you and your daughter.
    I don't know, I wish I could stop biting mine, I'm 23 for Pete's sake!
go to pharmacy and tell pharmacist the problem He or she will give you a product that is odorless but has a nasty taste It worked for me
