Please only experienced people answering! (tell me your experience)Can i use finger-nail clippers for rabbits (you know to clip their nails)?
yes. don't clip past the white part or they'll bleed. Can i use finger-nail clippers for rabbits (you know to clip their nails)?
I used clippers for iquana nails on my pet rabbit. I tried toenail clippers, but had no success.
I would recommend taking it to a pet shop, and letting them do it. It will be done right... and then you don't have to worry about hurting the bunny.
No- you need to go to the pet store , get the appropriate clippers or scissors .Some use fingernail clippers with little success mostly horror stories .Ask the store when buying. They will be happy to give you advise on proper grooming of the bunnies nails.
No!
It can hurt the rabbit and actually give it ingrown nails and an infection.
Take the bunny to the vet, or invest in some real animal nail clippers.
