What do you need to but to give yourself an overlay on your finger nails?

I don't want to spend alot of money going to the salon to get an over lay on my finger nails and I was wondering what do I need to get at the beauty store?? any helpWhat do you need to but to give yourself an overlay on your finger nails?
Do you mean acrylics?


If so, you need monomer (liquid), acrylic powder, primer, a brush, buffer, file, cuticle remover, etc.





But I really think you should stick with only polish if you're not going to a professional. Ether that, or go buy a book on acrylic nails and educate yourself. If you don't know what you're doing, you can really damage your nails and skin; even permanently.
